Kadima chair Tzipi Livni is presently meeting (1:00 p.m.) Wednesday with the head of Yisrael Beiteinu, Avigdor Lieberman, in the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem.

Lieberman will later meet with Likud chair Binyamin Netanyahu.

Although President Shimon Peres has not yet given first choice to either Kadima or Likud, the top parties are nevertheless conducting preliminary negotiations.
