Tzfat police arrested 12 hareidi-religious Jews following disturbances over renovations at the grave of Rabbi Shimon Bar-Yochai in nearby Meron overnight. Glass at the site was broken as a result of the disturbances.

Those who were arrested face extension of custody in a Tzfat court Tuesday morning.
