The IDF foiled an attempt by Arab smugglers to use humanitarian aid to camouflage night vision surveillance cameras, buried among basic food commodities, medical supplies and medication. Four trucks were turned back. "Despite this cynical attempt to abuse the humanitarian platform one truck of electronic supplies intended to rehabilitate the electrical network was transferred," according to Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories spokesman Major Pete Lerner.
 
Tuesday's 120 trucks of humanitarian goods to Gaza were the largest since the military operation began. Since the beginning of Operation Cast Lead, 22,046 tons of humanitarian aid on 926 trucks have been shipped to Gaza.
