The cabinet has approved the call-up of tens of thousands of Israelis to the IDF reserves. IDF officers began calling former soldiers to reserve duty on Saturday night.

Most of those being called up are former members of combat units. Some of those assigned to the Homefront Command and other non-combat reserves units have been called up as well.
