A group of extremist clerics is enlisting volunteers to fight in Gaza in wake of Israel’s Operation Cast Lead.
“From Monday, the Combatant Clergy Society has activated its website www.rohaniatmobarez.com for a week to register volunteers to fight against the Zionist regime in either the military, financial, or propaganda fields,” the Fars news agency reported.
The extremist Iranian group claims that it has no ties with the Ayatollah Khomeini-led government of Iran.
Muslim leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a religious decree to Muslims around the world to defend the Arabs in Gaza against Israeli attacks “in anyway possible.”
Iran does not recognize Israel’s right to exist. In addition, Iran has supplied Hamas terrorists with weapons.
