Channel 10 Poll: Left Advancing Reported: 21:49 PM - Dec/28/08
(IsraelNN.com) A Maagar Mohot (Brain Base) poll for Channel 10 television showed that if the Knesset elections were held on Sunday, the Likud would win 30 seats, as compared to 28 for Kadima and 16 for Labor. Shas and Yisrael Beitenu would receive 10 seats each, while the predominantly Arab parties would combine for 10 mandates. The combination of Meretz and the unnamed new leftist party would hold down seven seats, while the United Torah Judaism Knesset faction would number five. The Greens party would have enough for one seat, but that's not enough under the Knesset's three-seat minimum. The defection of National Union factions from the Jewish Home could leave the right without representation depending on the consolidation of forces by the midnight deadline for filing the list of Knesset candidates. The Pensioners and Meimad also look on their way out, according to the poll. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
