(IsraelNN.com) Israel security officials decided, at a special security meeting Tuesday morning about the increasing Arab riots near the Peace House on the edge of Hevron, to deploy a special "Yassam" unit police to the area. The specific Yassam "Yasmag" unit specializes in dispersing violent riots.

GOC of the IDF Central Command Major-General Gadi Shamni headed the meeting.

IDF reservists were mobilized Tuesday to block the main road to the Hevron area. They are not allowing in Jews who do not live in the area. There have been a series of Jewish marches to the Peace House to prevent the government from sending in troops to physically transfer out the two dozen Jewish families who live there.
