Labor party chairman and Defense Minister Ehud Barak will join former party rival Amir Peretz at a special unity convention on Sunday, organized by the former party boss.
Most of the party's top members are expected to be in attendance as Labor tries to recoup its losses before the next round of elections. This will be the first event at which Barak will join together with Peretz since their bruising battle over the party leadership more than a year ago.
