The IDF Spokesman's Office reported late Thursday that the Civil Administration found 40 olive trees destroyed near Kiryat Arba Thursday morning .

The report claims that the trees were owned by Arabs, and describes the incident as "serious," and as reason to justify deploying more troops. The IDF report repeated an accusation made weeks ago that Jews had damaged a local security fence.
