The Likud party announced on Thursday that it will hold primary elections December 15th to establish the order of candidates for the Knesset to be determined by the general elections scheduled for February 10th. The date is two days before the primaries in the Kadima party.

The announcement followed a meeting of the party's by-laws committee at Likud headquarters in Metzudat Ze'ev in Tel Aviv. The Likud Central Committee is expected to take up the matter at a meeting on Sunday.
