As of 8:00 p.m. the percentage of voter turnout throughout the country reached 33.8 percent. That includes cities where there was no reason to vote, due to there being only one candidate, or no serious contest.

Jerusalem and Tel Aviv are both serious contests.

Channel Two Television reported that, nationwide, this voter turnout is about the same as the last municipal election.
