The State Prosecutor's Office Tuesday evening asked the State High Court to postpone by one or two weeks the case scheduled for tomorrow in the matter of transferring the Jewish families who live in Migron.
The Office message explained that the political echelon considers the subject to have substantial significance in Israel's foreign affairs arena, and that because of the move's sensitive nature a brief delay may be called for.
Earlier Tuesday caretaker Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and caretaker Defense Minister Ehud Barak decided to "relocate" the young Jewish town to the settlement Adam. Both are located north of Jerusalem, past a turnoff to Ramallah.
