The Quartet's Middle East envoy, Tony Blair, met with Opposition Leader Binyamin Netanyahu Wednesday and then met with Transport Minister Shaul Mofaz, who is running for chairmanship of the Kadima party.
Blair reportedly heard similar assessments from both men regarding negotiations with the Fatah-run PA: both supported pursuing an "economic channel" in relations with the PA.
Mofaz also said that Israel must not be in a rush to forfeit strategic assets without receiving anything in return.
