(IsraelNN.com) The army overnight arrested nine wanted terrorists in nightly counterterrorist operations. No injuries or major incidents were reported. Two terrorists were nabbed northeast of Tulkarm, located near Netanya, and two were arrested near Ramallah.

Six of the terrorists were arrested in or around Shechem, where the Palestinian Authority (PA) has deployed armed policemen trained by the United States, ostensibly to combat terrorism. The PA has said that IDF operations in the area undermine the PA's authority, but Israeli has said that the PA policemen usually confine their duties to stopping criminals and traffic offenders.
