Hamas terrorists in Gaza are reportedly fighting with a local group linked with the international Al-Qaeda terrorist organization. The Army of Islam (Jaish al-Islam), is comprised of Salafi, also known as Wahabi, Muslims and is gaining strength in Gaza.
Two armed members of the group were arrested by Hamas forces, and a Hamas commander was seriously wounded in the exchange, which began during a Hamas attempt to arrest some Army of Islam gunmen as part of the crackdown on rival terrorist groups.
