Knesset Member Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of Israel Is Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu), plans to appeal to the High Court Sunday morning in an unprecedented move to end the 12-year investigation against him. He will ask the justices to order Attorney General Menachem Mazuz to either indict him or close the file against him. It involves alleged bribery and money laundering.

MK Lieberman previously has charged that the police and government prosecutors keep coming up with additional evidence as a ploy to continue questioning him and trying to prevent him from increasing his political power.
