It has been cleared for publication that four Arabs bearing Israeli citizenship were arrested more than a month ago and are under investigation, suspected of selling weapons to Arab terrorists. Joint Israel Security Agency and Israel Police Galilee District units arrested three residents of the Arab village of Kafr Makr and one Arab resident of the northern city of Akko as part of the investigation.
Public Security Minister Avi Dichter (Kadima) noted a rise in terror attacks by Arabs bearing Israeli citizenship on Friday night, following a terror attack on two police officers in the Old City of Jerusalem, calling it “organized.”
