According to a report published in the London-based Arabic language newspaper al-Sharq al-Awsat, negotiations between Israel and Syria focused this past week on Syria's relationships with Hamas, Hizbullah and Iran.

Also discussed in the indirect talks, brokered by Turkish mediators, was Syria's demand that Israel withdraw from the Golan Heights. This was the third round of negotiations held between the Jewish State and its northern neighbor.
