Abolfazi Zohrevand, Iran's former ambassador to Rome, revealed more details on the alleged assassination plot against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and said he was the target of an X-ray death plot.
Ahmadinejad was in Iran for a United Nations global summit when authorities uncovered the plan to kill him, the former envoy stated. He claimed that devices detected high-intensity radiation at Ahmadinejad's temporary residence in Rome.
