(IsraelNN.com) A bomb placed in a trash can wounded Imad Yassin, a leader of the Jund al-Sham Islamist terrorist group, along with two bodyguards,a woman and an eight year old girl in the Ain el-Hilweh camp near Sidon in southern coastal Lebanon.  This is part of the ongoing struggle between the Islamist group and the mainstream Fatah group in the camp.

Islamist groups associated with al-Qaeda such as Jund al-Sham have been making inroads in the various camps spread across southern Lebanon. These camps are outside the control of the Lebanese government, military and police and rely on armed Arab terrorist groups to maintain order. Israeli sources claim that the Islamist group is responsible for several shooting and bombing attacks on rivals within Lebanon recently.
