(IsraelNN.com)  Todays Labor Party meeting in Tel Aviv included calls for Prime Minister Olmert’s deposal and the possibility of general elections very soon.

Former Defense Minister and MK Amir Peretz (Labor) stated in today’s Labor Party meeting that “Elections will be in May, because the current proposed budget will not pass. Even a magician could not  pass such a budget.” In addition, MK Ofer Pines-Paz said that:  ”It is forbidden for us to slip-up, because we will be seen as people that turn back on their word…it will be a critical blow. Olmert cannot be Prime Minister. Period.”
