Arab terrorists late Wednesday morning shelled the same Negev kibbutz paint factory where a shell killed a 51-year-old man last week. One man was lightly wounded by shrapnel in the latest attack and is being treated at Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva. The mortar shell explosion caused a fire in the plant.
Four mortars were fired in the region during the morning as the Security Cabinet is meeting in Jerusalem to decide on what course of action, if any, against the rocket and mortar attacks which have become more exact and more deadly. Several dozen Negev residents are protesting near the office of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who since taking office more than two years ago has stated several times that his government will not tolerate the attacks.
