The Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved a bill Sunday that would give academic credits to reservists who carry out extended reserve service.

The bill, which was proposed by MKs Gilad Erdan (Likud) and Eitan Cabel (Labor), would give two academic credits to reservists who served more than three weeks. The credits will count as an elective course.
