Security authorities have released for publication that intelligence and army personnel have arrested a former Fatah terrorist who trained in Iran under the elite Revolutionary Guards.

The terrorist was identified as Ala Abu Madif, who joined a different Gaza terrorist group after leaving Fatah. He is a resident of Khan Yunis, near the destroyed Jewish community of Nevei Dekalim, and was involved in several shooting and rocket attacks on Israel. Army spokesmen added that Abu Madif was prepared to stage a suicide bombing attack.
