Two Bedouin men have been arrested in connection with an arson attack in the Bedouin village of Tel-Sheva, police announced Thursday. The two men were arrested for setting fire to a car owned by the Elbaz family, causing serious damage. They attempted to set fire to the Elbaz family’s house as well.

The two admitted to the allegations, and said they carried out the attack for nationalist reasons after Sana Elbaz lit a torch as part of an official state ceremony in honor of Independence Day.
