Eight-year-old Osher Tuito, who was badly wounded in a rocket attack in Sderot earlier in the year, traveled to Tel HaShomer hospital on Thursday to visit two-year-old Tair Afjin, who was badly wounded in a similar attack on Wednesday. “I told her she would be healthy and whole and her pain would eventually go away,” Osher said after the visit.

Tair woke up on Thursday after being kept in a medically induced coma for several hours to spare her the pain of her wounds. Osher, who lost a leg following the attack on Sderot, asked if Tair would lose any limbs due to her serious injuries. When doctors said she would not, he answered “Thank God.”
