MK Eldad Calls for General Strike in Ashkelon
(IsraelNN.com) MK Aryeh Eldad (NU/NRP) wrote a letter Wednesday to Ashkelon's mayor, Roni Mahatzri, in which he asked him to declare a general strike in the southern port city.
"I call upon you to declare a general strike in Ashkelon immediately – an education strike, a commerce and transportation strike, until the government of Israel again takes responsibility for the lives of Israel's citizens.
