Among the Badly Injured: a Doctor and her Assistant
(IsraelNN.com) The people wounded in the attack on Ashkelon's largest shopping center were a doctor and her assistant, as well as a woman and her daughter, one of whom was apparently being treated by the doctor when the rocket hit.
The rocket hit the offices of the Kupat Holim Klalit medical service in the shopping center's top floor.
Magen David Adom emergency services summed up the event's casualty statistics thus: three seriously wounded, two moderately wounded and nine lightly hurt.
