Terrorists Launched Rocket from Ruins of Dugit
(IsraelNN.com) The Hamas rocket that hit an Ashkelon shopping center Wednesday afternoon was launched from amidst the ruins of the Jewish community of Dugit, which was torn down by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in 2005. Dugit is about 15 km. distant from Ashkelon.
The rocket is reportedly a "Grad" or "Katyusha" missile.
Residents at the site of the attack are voicing great anger at the fact that the early warning siren did not sound before the attack.
