The Kadima party held a conference on Sunday evening in support of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Approximately 200 party members attended the event.
Kadima council chair Meir Nitzan said the council planned to officially announce “comprehensive support” for Olmert on behalf of the party and its Members of Knesset. Olmert has faced calls to resign since it became known last week that he is suspected of violating campaign finance laws.
