Contrary to a number of reports circulated recently on internet email list serves, the critically-injured 15-year-old shooting victim of the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva terrorist attack in March is currently doing well. According to a statement issued by a friend of the family last week, Naftali ben Gila Rachel is now recuperating from his wounds at a rehabilitation center.

"Naftali has made tremendous and miraculous improvements and appears to be clearly on the road to recovery, rehabilitation (which itself will take months to years) and G-d willing to a normal life," reads the statement. "Naftali's mother conveys her thanks and warm wishes to all of Klal Yisroel."
