Professor Aryeh Dvoretzky Dies at 92

(IsraelNN.com) Professor Aryeh Dvoretzky of Hebrew University died on Thursday at the age of 92.  Dvoretzky was one of Israel’s premier mathematicians.

Dvoretzky won the Israel prize for mathematics in 1973.  He served as head of the Israeli Academy of Sciences and as president of the Weizmann Institute from 1985-1988.
