Rocket Attack South of Ashkelon (IsraelNN.com) Terrorists in Gaza fired a rocket at Ashkelon on Thursday evening. The rocket fell short, landing near a kibbutz (cooperative community) south of the city. No injuries were reported in the attack. Gaza terrorists attacked Israeli civilians and soldier several times throughout the day, firing four rockets, a mortar shell, and an anti-tank missile at Israeli communities in the Negev and soldiers manning the Gaza security barrier.
