(IsraelNN.com) Hizbullah head Hassan Nasrallah said Thursday that the Lebanese government had declared war on his group.  The government declared war on Hizbullah by banning its communications network, he said.

The government decided the network was illegal following rumors that it was being used to track the movements of anti-Syrian politicians and to smuggle weapons into the country.  Hizbullah insists that it needs the network in order to fight Israel, and accused the government of dismantling the network “for the benefit of America and Israel.”  The group has blocked main roads in the capital city of Beirut in response, including the road to the airport.
