Gaza terrorists fired three short-range “Kassam” rockets at Israeli communities in the western Negev on Thursday afternoon. One of the rockets landed within Gaza, one landed near a kibbutz (cooperative community) in the Shaar HaNegev region, and the third landed near a kibbutz in the Eshkol region. No injuries were reported.
In addition, terrorists fired a mortar shell at Nahal Oz. The shell landed near the Gaza security barrier. Terrorists also fired on workers near Nahal Oz. No injuries were reported in the attacks.
An IAF strike took out the terrorist cell responsible for firing two rockets on Thursday afternoon. Two of the terrorists were badly wounded, and another two suffered light to moderate wounds.
