The fourth Israeli Air Force strike of the day killed an Islamic Jihad terrorist and injured at least six others early Wednesday afternoon. Gaza medics said that one other terrorist was critically wounded. The IDF said the counterterrorist operation in the area of Khan Yunis, which began early Wednesday morning, resumed after terrorists approached soldiers at the separation barrier.

Approximately a dozen terrorists were wounded in the morning operation, and several reports stated that one Hamas terrorist died. Al Quds and Hamas terrorist spokesmen claimed that their members shot and wounded two Israeli soldiers, but the IDF reported no injuries.
