Israel, African Nations to Sign Economic Coop Agreement

Israel will sign off on a joint trade and economic cooperation agreement with four African states this week at the four-day international business congress being held in Jerusalem by the International Christian Chamber of Congress (ICCC), representing Christian business leaders from 100 different nations around the world.

Ministers of Economic Affairs and other government officials from Rwanda, Burundi, Benin and Liberia will sign a Declaration of Economic and Commercial Cooperation with Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor, Eli Yishai on Wednesday, April 30 at the event.

President Shimon Peres is expected to open the conference on Tuesday, along with Shraga Brosh, President of the Israel Manufacturers Association and various Israeli officials, exporters, industrialists and dignitaries.
