Defense officials said Monday that the Kerem Shalom crossing into Gaza would remain closed on Monday morning, but would be opened at some point in the near future.  The crossing is used to deliver food, medicine, and other humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The crossing was closed on Saturday after terrorists attacked early on Saturday morning, detonating two jeeps and attacking the area with mortar shells.  Thirteen soldiers were wounded in the attack.  Four terrorists were killed.
