Islamic Jihad spokesmen said Sunday that one of the group’s more senior terrorists had died in an accident.  The terrorist, Salih Dahidi, had been hiding from Israeli forces.

Islamic Jihad officials said Dahidi had been killed in a car crash between Jenin and Shechem.  No other information was given.
