The 2008 Jewish Funders Network conference opens Monday, bringing hundreds of Jewish American donors to Israel. The official welcoming ceremony is set for 3pm. This is the first time the conference is being held in Israel and will take place at the David Citadel Hotel until this Thursday.
The conference will focus on the role of government and philanthropy, the responsibility of the funder and the relationships between members of the global Jewish community.
