Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Wednesday that terrorists who attack women and children should not be called "freedom fighters."

Speaking before a special session of the Massachusetts Legislature, Livni said: "In Israel, not a day goes by without an attack against our civilians. Only last week, eight young boys who studied the Talmud were murdered. Whoever attacks women and children is not a freedom fighter but a terrorist, and in fighting terror our first obligation is to protect our citizens."
