Circumcision at 70 (IsraelNN.com) Seventy-year-old Vladamir Frintz has become the oldest immigrant to undergo a ritual circumcision (brit mila) in Israel, according to Scope. Frintz took on the Hebrew name “Yishai.” Frintz’s grandson spoke at the ceremony and expressed his pride for his elderly grandfather, who was unable to undergo a ritual circumcision as a child in Russia due to the Communist government’s ban on religious ceremonies.
