Police have begun a new initiative to enforce traffic safety laws.  Hundreds of police officers and volunteers will participate in the project, which will last for the entire month of March.

Police will focus on enforcement in the most dangerous areas, particularly along roads where crashes have been frequent this year. Eighty-three people have died in traffic accidents since the beginning of 2008, including four who died over the past weekend.
