Israel May Boycott U.N. Durban Summit

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Sunday that Israel will not participate in the second U.N. Durban conference against racism, if it learns that the summit will be a platform for anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli activity.

Speaking at the global conference for combating anti-Semitism at the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem, Livni said: "Participation in such conferences gives legitimacy for hatred, radicalism and anti-Semitism. Israel will not encourage such behavior."
