The cabinet approved in its weekly Sunday meeting NIS 327 for fortification of Sapir College, Sderot and other Gaza Belt communities.
It is not clear, however, how this interfaces with the Prime Minister's remarks at the opening of the meeting that fortification of Sderot would not be "extreme" and that communities in the western Negev would be protected by a combination of systems, expected only to be operational in 2010.
