It was released for publication that the IDF intercepted a shipment of chemicals used in the manufacture of explosives Monday outside Jericho.

Soldiers at the Shelach Checkpoint north of Jericho confiscated the shipment.

Such chemicals are illegal in Judea, Samaria and Gaza due to their use in making explosive vests and belts used by terrorist groups in suicide bombings, as well as the manufacture of rockets.
