Terrorists Narrowly Missed Hitting Beit Hadassah Child

Details of Wednesday evening's shooting attack on Jews in Beit Hadassah revealed that one of the 15 bullets hit a child's room and a second struck an outdoor courtyard where children were playing. No one was injured in the attack, the first time in several years Arab terrorists fired on the Hevron Jewish neighborhood. The bullets were fired from a Kalashnikov rifle from the Harat a'Shech hills.

The Hevron Jewish community wrote Defense Minister Ehud Barak, "As all of Eretz Yisrael has been transformed into a 'front,' and shooting has begun again in Hebron, we request that you deal with security of Jews and refrain from expelling them from their homes."
