Zeevi Killer Convicted

(IsraelNN.com) The Jerusalem District Court convicted Basal Asmar on Monday for his role in the assassination of Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi. Asmar was convicted of murder and membership in a terror organization, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
Ze'evi was murdered outside his room at Jerusalem's Hyatt Hotel (now the Regency) in October, 2001.
