The Gush Etzion Winery won a gold medal this week in a Panamanian wine competition.The gold medal was awarded to the winery's Chardonnay Dessert Wine 2006.

The wine is made from grapes grown at the Revadim vineyard. Revadim was a HaShomer HaTzair kibbutz in Gush Etzion that fell in 1948.
