A firefighting crew was attacked on Tuesday night in the Israeli Arab village of Kfar Rama, in the Galilee. A group of men attacked the rescue workers with stones as they arrived in the village to extinguish a burning vehicle.
Police said later that the attack on the firefighters had been planned in advance. Police were attacked twice last month while responding to emergency calls from Kfar Rama. One of the calls was discovered to be a ruse meant to draw the officers into the village, where they were attacked with stones.
